 United We Stand, Divided We Fall  Patrick Henry used the phrase in his last public speech, given in March 1799, in which he denounced The Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions. Clasping his hands and swaying unsteadily, Henry declaimed, "Let us trust God, and our better judgment to set us right hereafter. United we stand, divided we fall.
The state motto of Kentucky, "United we stand, divided we fall," was from a popular 1768 tune entitled the "Liberty Song," by John Dickinson.
“Out of many, one.” This is the literal translation for the motto of the United States of America. It was a motto suggested by a committee on July 4, 1776.
Although the U.S.'s motto was signed into law by a Christian president, federal courts have regularly upheld the motto as being in-line with the U.S. Constitution.

The Vatican Rules As John Benko and his 4 Persons Drools.  The Catholic Church is guided by the Holy Spirit, that is for certain.  The apolstolic Deposit of faith given by Jesus Christ to His Apostles, their Successors, The Church Fathers, down through the ages of the Church for us through Apostolic Succession.  Yet, John Benko takes it upon himself to himself the arbitor of truth? If he personally disagrees with something he believes he can over ride a debate to match his personal agenda, much as a Protestant has done.  Medjugorgje is a prime example.  It is over Medjugorgje that John Benko was fired from Deepertruth, that and his constant nonsence bully tactics that he is painfully known for across the internet.Mornfully, Benko rationalizes how the Vatican did not outright condemn Medjugorje.  He tries to reason why Pope Frances merely "punted on the question of Medjugorje.  Thinking that the Pope is wanting to deliver a "soft blow" to the millions who have been to Medjugorje. Perhaps maybe a negative verdict would undoubtedly be some nuance and finesse for the faaithful.  
Clearly, Benko expected a Vatican condemnation of his claims of the "false events in Medjugorje and how could it be otherwise? Like Benko can't see that he is wrong, Medjugorgje is not condemned.  What to do about the facts of the many numbers of conversions, changed hearts, many being reconnected to the Catholic faith.  yet, Benko holds on his hope that soon the Vatican will close the books on Medjugorje even today.  After today, Benko hopes there is no more Medjugorje dreaming "we are only a few hours away.

The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, with the assent of Pope Francis, grants approval for devotion linked to Medjugorje, recognizing the abundant spiritual fruits received at the Sanctuary of the Queen of Peace without making a declaration on the supernatural character of the Marian apparitions.
"The time has come to conclude a long and complex history that has surrounded the spiritual phenomena of Medjugorje. It is a history in which bishops, theologians, commissions, and analysts have expressed a series of divergent opinions."
Beginning with the words “The Queen of Peace,” the Note about the Spiritual Experience connected with Medjugorje was signed by Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández and Monsignor Armando Matteo, respectively Prefect and Secretary for the Doctrinal Section of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.
Pope Francis approved the Note on August 28. It recognizes the goodness of the spiritual fruits linked to Medjugorje, authorizing the faithful to adhere to it – according to the new Norms for discerning these phenomena – since "many positive fruits have been noted in the midst of a spiritual experience, while negative and dangerous effects have not spread among the People of God."

Stand In The Gap With Us And Saint Januarius 9/19/2024.  
Today the Church celebrates St. Januarius, the patron saint of Naples and of blood banks, and his strange story is one of the best.
Januarius is the patron saint of Naples, where the faithful gather three times a year in Naples Cathedral to witness the liquefaction of what is claimed to be a sample of his blood kept in a sealed glass ampoule.
The Church believes that the miracle takes place in response to the dedication and prayers of the faithful. When the miracle occurs, the mass of reddish dried blood, adhering to one side of the ampoule, turns into completely liquid blood, covering the glass from side to side.
Many centuries ago, Saint Januarius died for the Faith during the persecution of Diocletian. God, through the blood which His servant shed for Him, some of which is conserved in Naples, continues to strengthen the faith of the Church, and to work there a regular miracle by its means.

Stand In The Gap With Us And Saint Joseph of Cupertino 9/18/2024.  Joseph of Cupertino was a Conventual Franciscan Friar (OFM Conv.) and is recognized and honored as a Christian mystic and saint. He is the patron saint of aviation, astronauts, mental handicaps, test taking, and students.
During Mass or prayer, he would often be lifted from his feet—he was observed levitating more than 70 times. The experience of levitation is a physical expression of the deep prayer that raises the heart and mind to God. In Joseph's case, a number of his levitations were well-documented.
Joseph of Cupertino is most famous for levitating at prayer. Already as a child, Joseph showed a fondness for prayer. After a short career with the Capuchins, he joined the Conventual Franciscans. Following a brief assignment caring for the friary mule, Joseph began his studies for the priesthood. Though studies were very difficult for him, Joseph gained a great deal of knowledge from prayer.

Stand In The Gap With Us And Saint Robert Bellarmine.  9/17/2024.  He is one of the patron saints of catechists and catechumens. Bellarmine entered the Society of Jesus in 1560. After studying in Italy at Rome, Mondovì, and Padua, he was sent to Leuven (Louvain) in the Spanish Netherlands, where he was ordained in 1570 and began to teach theology.
He always taught that the most important truth of our faith is our belief in the real person of Jesus, God's only Son, who died and rose from the dead to save us from sin and death. Although Robert was named a cardinal in 1598 by Pope Clement VIII, he always led a humble and caring life.

 Stand in the Gap With Us And  Saint Cornelius 9/16/2024.  Saint Cornelius was the bishop of Rome from 6th or 13th March 251 until his martyrdom in June 253. He was pope during and following a period of persecution of the church, while a schism occurred over how repentant church members who had practiced pagan sacrifices to protect themselves could be readmitted to the church. He agreed with Cyprian of Carthage that those who had lapsed could be restored to communion after varying forms of Reinitiation and Penance.
St. Cornelius was a Priest that strongly believed in the gift of confession. In his time there were many Christians who denounced Christianity to Emperor Decius in order to be spared their lives. The Church leaders of their time thought they could never be brought back into the church after such behavior.
Cornelius's saintly name means "battle horn", and he is represented in icons by a pope either holding some form of cow's horn or with a cow nearby.
But Cyprian called him a martyr and later accounts said that Cornelius had been beheaded. He was buried at Rome in the crypt of Lucina, where his tomb can still be seen  Cornelius Martyr.
Cornelius is the patron saint of earache sufferers (perhaps because of his arguments with Novatian), domestic animals, cattle and, unsurprisingly, the town of Kornelimünster.
