We are living in a time of Consecration before the Lord.  From the earliest times since God developed His relationship with His people, there have always been those who were consecrated to do God’s will through the Covenants. Usually, people were consecrated for a specific purpose.
Consider Chapter 24 of the Book of Exodus. Moses consecrates the entire people of Israel based on the Covenant. Moses read the Covenant to the people who then made their profession of obedience. Certain rites were established to fulfill God’s intentions for His people and their sacrifices. We see the erection of an altar and twelve memorial stones that would foreshadow the Catholic Altar (Hebrews 13:10). This was to commemorate the twelve tribes of Israel.
Moses consecrated twelve youths whose purpose were to perform the burnt-offering. This would be for the sacred holocaust.
From this holocaust, Moses sprinkled blood upon the people which again is a foreshadowing of the blood of Christ.

An influenza epidemic swept Europe in autumn of 1918 just as the war was finishing, and both Jacinta and Francisco fell ill. Francisco recovered somewhat, but his condition worsened again. He offered up all his sufferings as a way of consoling God for the sinfulness and ingratitude of mankind and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. He became so weak that eventually he could not even pray. He received his first Holy Communion and on the next day, April 4, 1919, he died.
Jacinta too was confined to her bed during the long winter months, and although she recovered was struck down with bronchial pneumonia, while also developing a painful abscess in her chest. She was moved to the hospital in Ourem in July 1919 where she underwent the painful treatment prescribed for her but without much effect. She returned home in August with an open wound in her side. It was decided that another attempt should be made to treat her, and so in January 1920 she was taken to Lisbon, where she was diagnosed as having purulent pleurisy and diseased ribs.
Eventually in February she was admitted into the hospital, where she underwent another painful operation to remove two ribs. This left her with a large wound in her side that had to dressed daily causing her great agony. On the evening of February 20, 1920 the local priest was called and heard her Confession, but he insisted on waiting till the next day to bring her Holy Communion despite her protests that she felt worse. As Mary had foretold she died that night alone and far from her family. Her body was returned to Fatima and buried with that of Francisco until both were later moved to the Basilica built at the Cova da Iria.

How Can a Man Build a Strong Personality? As a man you have to walk a fine line between SELF-CONFIDENCE and HUMILITY.
You have to learn how to handle ANYTHING, from a dirty diaper to a mugger to a volcanic eruption, and do it right the first time.
What you can’t do is be proud or arrogant about it; don’t brag, just do your best and don’t seek recognition; do your best in all things because you need to know you can do it and do it for God's glory.
That confidence will carve itself into your face and bearing- you won’t need to brag, and eventually you won’t want to brag. You will be self-assured anywhere, with anyone.  That’s a never=ending process. You also have to learn how to gracefully seek help when you don’t have a clue how to handle something.
When you get that help, PAY ATTENTION and add it to your toolbox of skills- always be grateful to your teachers. Never be afraid to learn anything. That keeps you humble and keeps others willing to help you.
You have to learn to share what you know with humble confidence. Give anything asked of you freely- be clear and direct without being overbearing in your teaching. Others will seek you out for this. You will be respected for your strengths and your generosity.
Some of the most graceful and successful men are guys that have managed to put their ego behind them and simply act with empathy towards everyone they meet.

Stand In The Gap With Us And Blessed Michael Giedroyc 5/4/2024
A life of physical pain and mental torment didn’t prevent Michael Giedroyc from achieving holiness.
Born near Vilnius, Lithuania, Michael suffered from physical and permanent handicaps from birth. He was a dwarf who had the use of only one foot. Because of his delicate physical condition, his formal education was frequently interrupted. But over time, Michael showed special skills at metalwork. Working with bronze and silver, he created sacred vessels, including chalices.
He traveled to Kraków, Poland, where he joined the Augustinians. He received permission to live the life of a hermit in a cell adjoining the monastery. There Michael spent his days in prayer, fasted and abstained from all meat and lived to an old age. Though he knew the meaning of suffering throughout his years, his rich spiritual life brought him consolation. Michael’s long life ended in 1485 in Kraków.
Five hundred years later, Pope John Paul II visited the city and spoke to the faculty of the Pontifical Academy of Theology. The 15th century in Kraków, the pope said, was “the century of saints.” Among those he cited was Blessed Michael Giedroyc.
He was said to have received a vision from Jesus Christ and to have the gift of prophesy.
"The church was his home by day and by night, to pray there, to keep watch, to bend the knee."

Stand In The Gap With Us And Eucharistic Miracles of St. Catherin5/1/2024
many priests reported witnessing various times when the Eucharist moved to her on its own, even flying across the church.
Her friends witnessed that whenever she received communion, she would go into an ecstasy of deep union with God and would levitate above the ground.
Throughout the life of St. Catherine of Siena she also experienced numerous visions as well as other miracles, including many surrounding the Eucharist—to which she had a great devotion.
for the last seven years of her life, Catherine ate nothing besides the Eucharist by a special miracle she was literally nourished by Christ alone and was able to carry out her many works of service and counsel with surprising energy.
her confessor allowed her to continue her fast, eating only the Eucharist, and only then was she satisfied, happy, and somehow filled with energy. She lived for another seven years For the seven year period prior to her death, Saint Catherine of Siena took no food into her body other than the Eucharist.
She was completely satisfied physically and spiritually by receiving the Eucharist, and hungered greatly when she was unable to receive.
During the Consecration of the Eucharist at Mass, she saw the Priest transform into Jesus, and another time the Eucharist became the Baby Jesus in the Priest’s hands.

According to Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, Ss. Joachim and Anna had two children, the Blessed Virgin Mary and her older sister
"According to Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, Ss. Joachim and Anna had two children, the Blessed Virgin Mary and her older sister, whom Emmerich calls Maria of Heli. She tells us that Heli was another name for Joachim.
The husband of Maria of Heli was Cleophas, the nephew of Saint Joseph. And the person called Mary of Cleophas was the daughter of Cleophas and Maria Heli.
So at the foot of the Cross were:
1. Blessed Virgin Mary, 2. Maria of Heli, who is the older sister of the Virgin Mary and the wife of Cleophas 3. Mary of Cleophas, who is the niece of the Virgin Mary, and the daughter of Maria of Heli and Cleophas.4. Mary Magdalene,
Mary of Cleophas married Alphaeus, and their children included three Apostles: Jude Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot, and James the Less. Joses is not included by St. John here because he was not an Apostle. This information was certainly know by St. Mark, this is why tradition is important when understanding Biblical text.
Matthew the Apostle and Gospel writer was the son of Alphaeus and his first wife (name not known).
According to Emmerich, Cleophas was one of Joachim’s chief shepherds. After marrying Maria Heli, they had a daughter, Mary of Cleophas. Although Mary of Cleophas was the niece of Mary, she was nevertheless a few years older than her, because she was the first child of Maria of Heli, who was about 19 years older than Mary. They also had a son, Eliacim, who had been a disciple of John the Baptist.
According to Emmerich, the two disciples that Luke describes as meeting Jesus on the road to Emmaus, were Luke and a different Cleophas. This explains why Luke has so many details about that incident, that the other Gospel writers lack; he was there.

The prayer of the heart needs silence and peace. Everything within us and surrounding us must be still and focused. As we begin to strive for this attitude of vigilance and attentiveness, we may begin to experience an inner peace.
Father, I come before You in the Name of Jesus, and I choose life today! I will walk in faith and not in fear. Because the Lord is on my side I will not fear what any man can do to me. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask You to open my eyes to any hidden areas of fear in my life.
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.
In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good,
I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more,
and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us.
In His name. My God have mercy.

Join John Carpenter, Don Hartley, and the Deeper Truth research team as they continue to review the many amazing details of the Fatima story.
. The response was Mary’s first appearance at Fatima just over a week later. At this time Fatima was just a small village about seventy miles north of Lisbon. The three children to whom she appeared were Lucia dos Santos, age 10, and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto, ages eight and seven.
In the autumn the children again saw the Angel as they were out looking after the sheep. He appeared before them holding a chalice in his hands above which was suspended a host from which drops of blood were falling into the chalice. The Angel left the chalice suspended in the air and prostrated himself before it in prayer.
He then gave the host to Lucia to eat, and let Francisco and Jacinta drink from the chalice while saying: “Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men. Repair their crimes and console your God.” Then he prostrated himself again in prayer before disappearing. The children did not tell anyone about these visits of the Angel,
On May 13, 1917 the three children took their flocks out to pasture in the small area known as the Cova da Iria. After lunch and the rosary they suddenly saw a bright flash of something like lightning, followed quickly by another flash in the clear blue sky.
They looked up to see, in Lucia’s words, “a lady, clothed in white, brighter than the sun, radiating a light more clear and intense than a crystal cup filled with sparkling water lit by burning sunlight.” The children stood there amazed, bathed in the light that surrounded the apparition as the Lady smiled and said: “Do not be afraid, I will not harm you.” Lucia, as the oldest, asked her where she came from.

Stand In The Gap With Us And Saint Bernadette Soubirous 4/27/2024
Bernadette is the patron saint of bodily illness, Lourdes, against poverty, shepherds and shepherdesses, and people ridiculed for their faith.
Bernadette Soubirous was born in 1844, the first child of an extremely poor miller in the town of Lourdes in southern France. The family was living in the basement of a dilapidated building when on February 11, 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette in a cave above the banks of the Gave River near Lourdes. Bernadette, 14 years old, was known as a virtuous girl though a dull student who had not even made her first Holy Communion. In poor health, she had suffered from asthma from an early age.
There were 18 appearances in all, the final one occurring on the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, July 16. Although Bernadette’s initial reports provoked skepticism, her daily visions of “the Lady” brought great crowds of the curious. The Lady, Bernadette explained, had instructed her to have a chapel built on the spot of the visions. There, the people were to come to wash in and drink of the water of the spring that had welled up from the very spot where Bernadette had been instructed to dig.
According to Bernadette, the Lady of her visions was a girl of 16 or 17 who wore a white robe with a blue sash. Yellow roses covered her feet, a large rosary was on her right arm. In the vision on March 25 she told Bernadette, “I am the Immaculate Conception.” It was only when the words were explained to her that Bernadette came to realize who the Lady was.
