Stand In The Gap With Us And Saint Gregory VII 5/23/2024.  Gregory VII was the first pope to depose a crowned ruler, Emperor Henry IV (1056–1105/06). With this revolutionary act, Gregory translated his personal religious and mystical convictions regarding the role of the papacy into direct action in the world at large.
Contemporary accounts report that when Henry was finally permitted to enter the gates, he walked barefoot through the snow and knelt at the feet of the pope to beg forgiveness. As a result, the Pope revoked Henry's excommunication.
The 10th century and the first half of the 11th were dark days for the Church, partly because the papacy was the pawn of various Roman families. In 1049, things began to change when Pope Leo IX, a reformer, was elected. He brought a young monk named Hildebrand to Rome as his counselor and special representative on important missions. Hildebrand was to become Gregory VII.
Three evils plagued the Church then: simony–the buying and selling of sacred offices and things; the unlawful marriage of the clergy; and lay investiture—kings and nobles controlling the appointment of Church officials. To all of these Hildebrand directed his reformer’s attention, first as counselor to the popes and later as pope himself.

Stand In The Gap With Us And Saint Rita of Cascia "Saint of the Impossible" 5/22/2024.  Rita is known as the "Saint of the Impossible" because of her amazing answers to prayers, as well as the remarkable events of her own life. Desirous of being a nun, she instead obeyed her parents and married.
Like Elizabeth Ann Seton, Rita of Cascia was a wife, mother, widow, and member of a religious community. Her holiness was reflected in each phase of her life.
Born at Roccaporena in central Italy, Rita wanted to become a nun but was pressured at a young age into marrying a harsh and cruel man. During her 18-year marriage, she bore and raised two sons.
In the parish church of Laarne, near Ghent, Belgium, there is a statue of Rita in which several bees are featured. This depiction originates from the story of her baptism as an infant.
On the day after her baptism, her family noticed a swarm of white bees flying around her as she slept in her crib. However, the bees peacefully entered and exited her mouth without causing her any harm or injury. Instead of being alarmed for her safety, her family was mystified by this sight. According to Butler, this was taken to indicate that the career of the child was to be marked by industry, virtue, and devotion.
Rita was able to convert her husband into a better person,

God is as Really Present in the Holy Eucharist as He in The Glory of Heaven
“Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly, and I offer You the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences with which He, Himself is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg you for the conversion of poor sinners.”
Then, rising, the Angel took the Chalice and Host, and he gave Lucia the Eucharistic Host in communion. Then he gave the Precious Blood from the Chalice to Francisco and Jacinta, and he said: "Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men! Make reparation for their crimes and console your God."
On one occasion, in the course of a journey through France, Saint Paschal defended the dogma of the Real Presence against a Calvinist preacher, and in consequence, narrowly escaped death at the hands of a Huguenot mob.
Paschal spent his spare moments praying before the Blessed Sacrament. In time, many people sought his wise counsel. People flocked to his tomb immediately after his burial; miracles were reported promptly. Paschal was canonized in 1690 and was named patron of eucharistic congresses and societies in 1897.
Pascal died on the same feast on which he was born - the Feast of Pentecost - in 1592. An unusual number of miracles took place at his tomb. As a result of these miracles and because of his exceptional dedication the Holy Eucharist, Pascal was canonized in 1690.

Stand In The Gap With Us And St. Cristóbal Magallanes and Companions 5/21/2024.  St. Cristobal Magallanes is one of 25 saints who are honored for refusing to be intimidated by the anti-Catholic policies of the Mexican government. They were killed for leading the faithful during the persecution of the Church in that country at the start of the 20th century.
Cristóbal Magallanes Jara, also known as Christopher Magallanes (July 30, 1869 – May 25, 1927), was a Mexican Catholic priest and martyr who was killed without trial on the way to say Mass during the Cristero War. He had faced trumped-up charges of inciting rebellion.
Cristóbal was born in Mexico in 1869 to a family of farmers—he grew up working as a shepherd, and entered the seminary at the age of 19.
After his ordination, he was assigned to a parish in his hometown. There, he started schools and helped the people initiate public works to benefit the town, such as a carpentry shop and the building of a dam. He began a mission in a nearby village to reach the local indigenous people.
Like Blessed Miguel Agustín Pro, SJ, Cristóbal and his 24 companion martyrs lived under a very anti-Catholic government in Mexico, one determined to weaken the Catholic faith of its people. Churches, schools, and seminaries were closed; foreign clergy were expelled.
Cristóbal established a clandestine seminary at Totatiche, Jalisco. He and the other priests were forced to minister secretly to Catholics during the presidency of Plutarco Calles (1924-28).
All of these martyrs except three, were diocesan priests. David, Manuel and Salvador were laymen who died with their parish priest, Luis Batis. They all belonged to the Cristero movement, pledging

Stand In The Gap With Us And saint bernardine of siena 5/20/224.  Saint Bernardino is the patron saint of advertising, communications, compulsive gambling, respiratory problems, as well as any problems involving the chest area.
He was the greatest preacher of his time, journeying across Italy, calming strife-torn cities, attacking the paganism he found rampant, attracting crowds of 30,000, following Saint Francis of Assisi's admonition to preach about “vice and virtue, punishment and glory.”
Of noble birth, Bernardine was orphaned early. He completed his education in Siena, where he then served the sick in hospitals (1400), contracting and nearly dying of plague. In 1402 he entered the Observants. Bernardine became a priest in 1404 but did not begin his renowned preaching tours through Italy until 1417.
Most of the saints suffer great personal opposition, even persecution. Bernardine, by contrast, seems more like a human dynamo who simply took on the needs of the world.
He was the greatest preacher of his time, journeying across Italy, calming strife-torn cities, attacking the paganism he found rampant, attracting crowds of 30,000, following Saint Francis of Assisi’s admonition to preach about “vice and virtue, punishment and glory.”
Compared with Saint Paul by the pope, Bernardine had a keen intuition of the needs of the time, along with solid holiness and boundless energy and joy. He accomplished all this despite having a very weak and hoarse voice, miraculously improved later because of his devotion to Mary.

Join John Carpenter, Don Hartley, and the Deeper Truth research team as they study the amazing story from Belgium in 1932-33. Our Lady's 33 appearances to five young children in Beauraing first began on November 29, 1932 and concluded on January 3, 1933. At the time of the first apparition, the children’s ages ranged from 9 to 15 years old. After the first apparition, the children ran home to tell their parents.

When the Blessed Mother appeared the children fell to their knees and began praying the Rosary in unison. Only they could see her. The Virgin was young, wore a brilliant white gown, and radiated a beautiful blue light. As she continued to appear over the next few nights, the crowds grew larger. On December 4th she affirmed her title of "Immaculate Virgin" and when asked what she wanted she replied, "That you always be good.”
On December 8th over 15, 000 pilgrims journeyed to Beauraing. On this day the Mother of God appeared even more beautiful and brilliant than before. In the next apparition the Blessed Virgin Mary asked for a chapel to be built. On the last day of the year, she revealed her radiant heart to the children. The final apparition took place on January 3rd with 30,000 pilgrims present, the Virgin revealed three secrets. To two of the children, she promised to "convert sinners.” To Andree Degeimbre she said,
" I am the Mother of God, the Queen of Heaven, pray always.” She then exposed her radiant heart one last time. One child named, Fernande, was unable to see the Virgin and was very saddened. Suddenly, the Virgin Mary appeared before him and asked the kneeling child, "Do you love my son? Do you love me? Then sacrifice yourself for me.” Departing, she gave the child a marvelous vision of her Immaculate Heart as it shone with light and love.

John Benko is the head of the striking snake, his gang of misfits follow his tail.  President Trump offers his story of the snake that embodies John Benko and his gang of misfits that strike out with poison to lure unsuspecting innocent people with their evil demonic actions.  The Adventures of Trumperman
You brood of vipers (Snake pit), how can you say good things when you are evil? For from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks.
A good person brings forth good out of a store of goodness, but an evil person brings forth evil out of a store of evil.
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will render an account for every careless word they speak.
By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:34-37

Stand In The Gap With Us And  Saint Theophilus of Corte 5/19/2024
(30 October 1676 – 17 June 1740) - born Biagio Arrighi - was an ItalianRoman Catholicpriest and a professed member from the Order of Friars Minor.
If we expect saints to do marvelous things continually and to leave us many memorable quotes, we are bound to be disappointed with Saint Theophilus. The mystery of God’s grace in a person’s life, however, has a beauty all its own.
was ordained to the priesthood in Naples at the convent of Santa Maria La Nova on 30 November 1700.
Theophilus was born in Corsica of rich and noble parents. As a young man, he entered the Franciscans and soon showed his love for solitude and prayer. After admirably completing his studies, he was ordained and assigned to a retreat house near Subiaco.
Inspired by the austere life of the Franciscans there, he founded other such houses in Corsica and Tuscany. Over the years, he became famous for his preaching as well as his missionary efforts.
Though he was always somewhat sickly, Theophilus generously served the needs of God’s people in the confessional, in the sickroom, and at the graveside. Worn out by his labors, he died on June 17, 1740.

Stand In The Gap With Us And His  holiness Pope John Ithe 53nd Pope 5/18/2024, the 52nd successor of St. Peter.  Saint John I, (born, Tuscany [Italy]—died May 18, 526, Ravenna; feast day May 18), pope from 523 to 526. He ended the Acacian Schism (484–519), thus reuniting the Eastern and Western churches by restoring peace between the papacy and the Byzantine emperor Justin I.
Successor to Hormisdas
Though old and frail, John was elected pope in succession to Hormisdas I (514-23). Hormisdas had been successful in getting the “two natures/one person” doctrine on Christology accepted in Constantinople especially by the then no-nonsense emperor Justin against the Monophysite view which had always tended to be more prevalent there.
Pope John I inherited the Arian heresy, which denied the divinity of Christ. Italy had been ruled for 30 years by an emperor who espoused the heresy, though he treated the empire’s Catholics with toleration. His policy changed at about the time the young John was elected pope.
A Campaign Against Arianism
But this campaign of the emperor Justin in Constantinople soon overflowed into a campaign against Arianism, the taking over of Arian churches and the forcible re-conversion of Arians to Catholicism. At this time with no emperor in the West, the Gothic king Theodoric, an Arian, ruled Italy from Ravenna.
He ended the Acacian Schism (484–519), thus reuniting
