Great and Unique Signs of the Sign Of The Cross.  On Easter Day, St. Patrick and his companions appeared to walk through bolted doors to see the Pagan King.
Invited to sit down and parley, the Pagan priest, offered St. Patrick a drink laced with poison. Knowing this, St. Patrick did the Sign of the Cross over the cup and immediately the drink went from being hot to ice except the poison. Dumping out the poison,
St. Patrick again blessed the cup and the drink returned to normal. With everyone watching, the Pagan King Laoghaire was converted.
on a certain occasion St. Francis Xavier, by the sign of the cross, made sea-water fresh, so that his fellow-passengers and the crew could drink it;
In one town, when he tried to convince the locals to cut down a pine tree they venerated, they agreed -- but only if St. Martin would sit where the tree was going to fall! Martin seated himself directly under the path of the leaning tree and the townspeople began to cut from the other side.
However, just as the tree began to topple, Martin made the sign of the cross and the tree fell in the opposite direction -- slowly enough to miss the fleeing townspeople. Martin won many converts that day.

Join John Carpenter, Donald Hartley, and the Deeper Truth Research team as they continue to review Our Lady's predictions for the world.
The Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) affirmed his position on 13 March 1957 and again on 24 May 1972 and 25 May 1974.\
On 31 May 1996, Bishop Hendrik Bomers, with permission of the CDF permitted public veneration using the title, prayer, and image, while maintaining that the question of the supernatural character of the apparitions themselves was unresolved and left to the judgment of one's own conscience.
On 31 May 2002, Bishop Jozef Marianus Punt, Diocese of Haarlem-Amsterdam, declared the apparitions themselves to be of supernatural origin.
In a letter dated August 8, 2005, the secretary of the CDF acknowledged that "the said apparitions have received approval from His Excellency the Most Rev. Joseph Maria Punt
yer associated with the apparition be edited, replacing the words "who once was Mary" with "the Blessed Virgin Mary"
The aforementioned Doctrinary Dicastery pointed out that the Notification published on 25 May 1974, available on its web page, is still valid today. It states that, after suitable study, "it did not consist of the supernatural nature of the apparitions". Therefore, the faithful are invited to "cease all propaganda about the alleged apparitions and revelations of the 'Lady of all Nations', and urged "to express their devotion to the Virgin saint as Queen of the Universe

Almighty Father, I place the Precious Blood of Jesus before my lips before I pray, that my prayers may be purified before they ascend to Your divine altar.
Glory be to the Father, Who by His almighty power and love created me, making me in the image and likeness of God.
Glory be to the Son, Who by His Precious Blood delivered me from hell, and opened for me the gates of heaven.
Glory be to the Holy Spirit, Who has sanctified me in the sacrament of Baptism, and continues to sanctify me by the graces I receive daily from His bounty.
Glory be to the Three adorable Persons of the Holy Trinity, now and forever. Amen.
O Blessed Mother Assumed into Heaven, after years of heroic martyrdom on earth, we rejoice that you have at last been taken to the throne prepared for you in Heaven by the Holy Trinity.
Lift our hearts with you in the glory of your Assumption above the dreadful touch of sin and impurity.

Stand In The Gap With Us And Saint Louis of France 8/25/2024.  (Lous IX of France) Crusading king. Canonized as a saint for his concern and compassion for the poor.
King Louis IX of France led a Crusade in the mid-1200s. He died during another Crusade in 1270. In 1297, to honor the king's efforts as a Crusader, the Roman Catholic Church made Louis IX a saint.
At his coronation, St. Louis bound himself by oath to act as God's anointed king. St. Louis is known for interpreting his kingly duties in the light of faith.
Louis IX, also called Saint Louis, (born April 25, 1214, Poissy, France—died August 25, 1270, near Tunis [now in Tunisia]; canonized August 11, 1297, feast day August 25), king of France from 1226 to 1270, the most popular of the Capetian monarchs.
St. Louis is known for the Gateway Arch, the tallest monument constructed in the United States at 630 feet (190 m).

Teach us how small earth becomes when viewed from heaven. Make us realize that death is the triumphant gate through which we shall pass to your Son and that someday our bodies shall rejoin our souls in the unending bliss of heaven.
From this earth, which we tread as pilgrims, we look to you for help.
In honor of your Assumption into Heaven, we ask for this favor.... (Mention your request)
At the hour of our death, lead us safely to the presence of Jesus to enjoy the vision of God for all eternity together with you.
Pray for us O Queen Assumed into Heaven, pray for us, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. AmAlmighty Father, I place the Precious Blood of Jesus before my lips before I pray, that my prayers may be purified before they ascend to Your divine altar.

The Dangers of Indifferentism.  Going back to 1983, I was living in Arkansas not too long before I would join the Military. I would develop an interest with the "Letters to the Editor" portion of the local news paper "Harrison Daily Times" .
The work I had been doing with the Knights of Columbus was getting a lot of responses, both pro and con, as they gave their opinions.
On one occasion I responded to a debate concerning Christmas.A lady called in on a local radio program when the announcer wished her a "Merry Christmas". She was not happy about the "season's greetings" and responded back to the announcer that if he wanted to join the Catholic Church in worshiping a "false Christ", he could do so. She said there was nothing to support that the early Christians celebrated Christmas.
This lady was not a supporter of Christmas. I wrote a letter to the editor in response to this lady informing the community that Pope Telephorus, the 8th successor of St. Peter, established the custom of "Midnight Mass". In fact, Christmas is literally taken from Christ's Mass! Even Santa Claus is taken from the real historical person of St. Nicholas. This was about the year 125 A.D. and I couldn't help but notice this was but a short 90 years after the Resurrection of the Lord. The Popular Christmas scene we see often today was something that St. Francis began in the 1200's.
The next evening, I received an angry phone call from an individual who told me he was raised a Catholic.
He proceeded to inform me that he had 12 years of Catholic School. I responded back in defense of the Catholic Faith when he retorted back that "if I wanted to be Catholic I could move elsewhere".

Mary, Queen Assumed into Heaven, we rejoice that you are the Queen of Heaven and Earth. You have given your holy fiat to God and became the Mother of our Savior.
St. Bartholomew was one of the original 12 Apostles of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His name literally means "son of Tolomai", born in the "House of Tolomai" from Cana of Galilee.
Bartholomew most certainly knew the Bride Groom and guests at the famed wedding feast of Cana when Jesus performed His first public Miracle (John 2:1-11).

I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the Fount of My mercy.

According to the vision, those who receive communion and attend confession on the Feast of Mercy receive total forgiveness of sins. Pope John Paul II discussed the significance of the image of Divine Mercy in his homily for the canonization of St. Faustina: From that Heart [of Christ], Sr.

Stand In The Gap With Us And Saint Rose of Lima 8/23/2024.

Glory be to the Son, Who by His Precious Blood delivered me from hell, and opened for me the gates of heaven.

Mary, Queen of every heart, accept all that we are and bind us to Jesus with the bonds of love so that we may be yours forever and may be able to say in all truth: "I belong to Jesus through Mary".
She is the patron saint of embroiderers, gardeners, florists, people who are harassed for their piety, and those suffering family problems. She is the patroness of the Americas, the indigenous people of the Americas, and of Peru, India, and the Philippines.

The Catholic Church says that many miracles followed her death: there were stories that she had cured a leper, and that, at the time of her death, the city of Lima smelled like roses; roses also started falling from the sky. Many places in the New World are named Santa Rosa after her.
The first canonized saint of the New World has one characteristic of all saints—the suffering of opposition—and another characteristic which is more for admiration than for imitation—excessive practice of mortification.
She was born to parents of Spanish descent in Lima, Peru, at a time when South America was in its first century of evangelization.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
