During the early twentieth century, in Mexico, Russia, and some parts of Europe, militantly secularistic regimes threatened not just the Catholic Church and its faithful but civilization itself. Pope Pius XI’s encyclical gave Catholics hope and—while governments around them crumbled—the assurance that Christ the King shall reign forever. Jesus Christ “is very truth, and it is from him that truth must be obediently received by all mankind”
Christ’s kingship is rooted in the Church’s teaching on the Incarnation. Jesus is fully God and fully man. He is both the divine Lord and the man who suffered and died on the Cross. One person of the Trinity unites himself to human nature and reigns over all creation as the Incarnate Son of God. “From this it follows not only that Christ is to be adored by angels and men, but that to him as man angels and men are subject, and must recognize his empire; by reason of the hypostatic union Christ has power over all creatures”
The Church calls us to acknowledge Christ’s kingship with our whole lives:
He must reign in our minds, which should assent with perfect submission and firm belief to revealed truths and to the doctrines of Christ. He must reign in our wills, which should obey the laws and precepts of God. He must reign in our hearts, which should spurn natural desires and love God above all things, and cleave to him alone. He must reign in our bodies and in our members, which should serve as instruments for the interior sanctification of our souls, or to use the words of the Apostle Paul, ‘as instruments of justice unto God.’
This solemnity encourages us the celebrate and live out our faith in public. “Thus by sermons preached at meetings and in churches, by public adoration of the Blessed Sacrament exposed and by solemn processions, men unite in paying homage to Christ, whom God has given them for their King”
Feast celebrated in the Roman Catholic Church and the Lutheran Church on the last Sunday of the liturgical year. It celebrates Christ's messianic kingship and sovereign rule over all creation.
The Feast of Christ the King, also known as the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, is a Catholic festival that celebrates Jesus Christ as the ruler of all creation:

A Deepertruth origninal, The Case For December 25 Jesus Birthday! The bible certainly points to Jesus from before and after the events that took place during the time of Jesus birth.
The bible does give very important detail, despite the belief of those who think otherwise.
Here are some thoughts to consider:Luke 1:5 states, "In the days of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah, of the division of Abijah; and he had a wife of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and both were advanced in years. Now while he was serving as priest before God when his division was on duty, according to the custom of the priesthood, it fell to him by lot to enter the Temple of the Lord and burn incense. And the whole multitude of the people were praying outside at the hour of incense."
Where and what were these divisions of priests who served the Temple sacrifices for the people? The foundation of the divisions were established by King David in 1 Chronicles 28:11-21, and 1 Chronicles 24 gives the specific divisions. Abijah was listed as number eight in the rotation (1 Chronicles 24:10) which happens to be the division that Zechariah is attached to.
The bible certainly points to Jesus from before and after the events that took place during the time of Jesus birth. The bible does give very important detail, despite the belief of those who think otherwise.

Thanks Giving Weekend. Eucharist Rings out accross The World. Remembering Squanto and that first Thanksgiving, The term “Eucharist” originates from the Greek word eucharistia, meaning thanksgiving.
The first American Thanksgiving was actually celebrated on September 8, 1565 in St. Augustine, Florida. Mother Mary's Birthday, our Patron of the Americas! A patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a form of spiritual protection attributed to Mary, mother of Jesus, Pray for America the Rosary
The Native Americans and Spanish settlers held a feast and the Holy Mass was offered. A second similar "Thanksgiving" celebration occurred on American soil on April 30, 1598 in Texas when Don Juan de Oñate declared a day of Thanksgiving to be commemorated by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The Catholic origins of Thanksgiving don't stop there. Squanto, the beloved hero of Thanksgiving, was the Native American man who mediated between the Puritan Pilgrims and the Native Americans.
Squanto had been enslaved by the English but he was freed by Spanish Franciscans. Squanto thus received baptism and became a Catholic. So it was a baptized Catholic Native American who orchestrated what became known as Thanksgiving.
is that the truly "First Thanksgiving" celebration occurred on American soil on April 30, 1598 in Texas when Don Juan de Oñate declared a day of Thanksgiving to be commemorated by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, please grant us continued graces and blessing throughout the coming year.

The only apparition approved by the Church in the United States took place in Wisconsin in the 19th century. Since then, many faithful come to the Champion area to receive the graces of the Virgin Mary. In the middle of the 19th century, the Virgin Mary appeared to a Belgian immigrant named Adele Brise.
In the middle of the 19th century, the Virgin Mary appeared to a Belgian immigrant named Adele Brise. At that time, the story of Our Lady of Champion began to unfold. Adele had moved to United Stateswith her parents and had wanted to dedicate herself to the education of children for years.
One day while walking she met a woman dressed in white. During this encounter no words were exchanged, but Adele was frightened. After talking to her parents, she came to the conclusion that a soul in pain had appeared to her.
A few days later, on her way to Mass with her sister and a friend, she saw the apparition again. Her companions did not perceive anything and Adele consulted with a priest, trying to understand what was happening. The priest suggested that she try to talk to the woman if she saw her again.
After the celebration of Mass, Adele met the apparition again. Following the priest's advice, Adele asked, "In the name of God, who are you and what do you desire of me?" The woman dressed in white replied, "I am the Queen of Heaven, who prays for the conversion of sinners, and I desire that you do the same." In addition, she gave the visionary another mission: "Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they must know to be saved".

"O God, we thank you for implanting the gift of faith in human hearts, and for sending Jesus your Son as the fullness of your love; may His life and mission lead us to share in your divine life. Bless all inquirers, catechumens, and candidates who have responded to Jesus' call to 'Come follow me,' help them persevere in their journey of faith; bless those who minister through the RCIA process, that they may lead others to a life of faith in Jesus Christ; and inspire us all to be your light in the world. Amen.".
Eternal God, please send to us, according to your divine will, souls whom you have called, and pour out your Holy Spirit to work through us to set all our hearts afire for Your Kingdom. We ask this through Your Son Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life for all. Amen.
We thank you for sending Jesus your son, as the fullness of your love. May his life and mission lead us to share in your divine life. We ask you to bless in a special way all inquirers, catechumens, and candidates, who have generously responded to the invitation of Jesus: "Come follow me.”
We instruct our RCIA Candidates and Catechumens the importance of our faith being a journey. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, "All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit." Our hope is in the Lord, Jesus gave us His Church as our guide and interpreter of his word. Romans 15:4 states, "For whatever was written previously was written for our instruction, that by endurance and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to think in harmony with one another, in keeping with Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Virgin Mary calls for Converson through the RCIA. I accept you as my Lord, God and Savior. Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul, and spirit. Come Lord Jesus, cover me with your Precious Blood, and fill me with your Holy Spirit.
Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament. O Jesus, it is for the love of Thee, in reparation for the offences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the conversion of poor sinners.
O Holy Mother, I join you at the foot of your Son's Cross to implore mercy and conversion for the souls of the world. With you I offer the wounds of your Son Jesus to the Father in atonement for the sins of the world, past, present and to come.
In the Hail Mary prayer, when we say, “Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death,” we are asking Mary to intercede for us not just throughout our lives but also at the time of our death.
The most effective prayer, the one that is always answered, is this: “Father, glorify Your name.” “Answer my cry, O Lord, in a way that will accomplish Your will, for Your will is good, acceptable, and perfect. It is best for You, and therefore best for me and any others who may be affected by this prayer.
O glorious Mother of God, so powerful under your special title of Our Lady of Lourdes, to you we raise our hearts and hands to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the gracious heart of Jesus all the helps and graces necessary for our spiritual and temporal welfare and for the special favor
Praying the Rosary allows us to encounter Mary and to enter the mysteries of Jesus Christ. From his Incarnation, to the Cross, to the Resurrection, we come to understand that God has revealed himself and saved us. May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Rosary, continue to inspire us to a life of discipleship.

What is Truth? Truth means nothing apart from God and cannot be adequately explained, recognized, understood or defined without God as the real source.
Pilate said to Jesus, “What is truth?
So when Jesus says, “I am the Truth” He means that he is the source and sustainer of everything in the universe.
Whoever walks without blame,
doing what is right,
speaking truth from the heart;
3Who does not slander with his tongue,
does no harm to a friend,
never defames a neighbor;
Psalm 15:2When the biblical definition of truth is abandoned, unrighteousness will be the unpreventable result in a person or a society.
Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth. 1 John 3:18
Whoever is blessed in the land will be blessed by the God of truth, and whoever swears in the land will swear by the God of truth. Isaiah 65:16
He who speaks the truth gives honest evidence, but a false witness utters deceit. Proverbs 12:17
Paul, a slave of God and apostle of Jesus Christ for the sake of the faith of God’s chosen ones and the recognition of religious truth,
in the hope of eternal life that God, who does not lie, promised before time began,
who indeed at the proper time revealed his word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted by the command of God our savior, Titus 1:1-3
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18
Buy truth and do not sell: wisdom, instruction, understanding! Proverbs 23:23
God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.” John 4:24

WHO WILL ANSWER!
And we have this confidence in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, we know that what we have asked him for is ours. 1 John 5:14-15
He will call upon me and I will answer;l
I will be with him in distress;
I will deliver him and give him honor. Psalm 91:15
Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you great things beyond the reach of your knowledge. Jeremiah 33:3
Now to him who is able to accomplish far more than all we ask or imagine, by the power at work within us" "to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen". Ephesians 3:20
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22–23
Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision? Much in every way. To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God? By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, Romans 3:1–4
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
The saying is trustworthy, for:
If we have died with him, we will also live with him;
if we endure, we will also reign with him;
if we deny him, he also will deny us;
if we are faithless, he remains faithful—
for he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:11–13
Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends o the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds.Psalm 36:5
